A New Tour Boat for Keuka Lake
the Esperanza Rose

This old wooden boat used to be a tour boat in Florida. It came up the East Coast, up the Erie Canal to Seneca Lake and traveled the last few miles overland to the Keuka Outlet. Telephone wires had to be lifted and a huge crane employed to move the vessel from land into the water.

These pictures were taken just south of the Marsh near the mouth of Keuka Lake. The boat will operate out of Branchport on the western branch of Keuka Lake.
